#17832 - Universal 3-inch x 24tpi thread to OPTEC-3000 Dovetail Mount

Apogee and SBIG have standardized on a 3-inch diameter thread with 24 threads per inch (24tpi) for many of their large format cameras and filter wheels. Optec welcomes standardization among fittings and adapters and has started an astronomical standards group. (see www.astronomystandards.org)

The #17832 adapter has been redesigned to fit any of the standard 3"x24tpi female threaded mounts. For the FLI 3.005"x24tpi thread, see our #17833 mount.
