We assemble our Bessell filters but every so ofter we goof and
make one that has a small defect. For most purposes, the defect doesn't
matter but we cannot sell them as new.

Johnson filters and replaced them with the Bessell formula. These

We have some new neutral density
filters mounted in 48mm threaded cells. These are Tiffen brand and
are made from absorption glass. Transmissions available are 50%, 25%
and 12.5%. Priced at $10.00 each.
We have a Green with IR
blocking 50-mm diameter 2-mm thick filter (#17247part of the
LRGB set) with a long and very thin scratch on one side. It is
so thin that I don't believe it would ever show up in an image. Regular
price is $125.00 but the scratch-and-dent price is only $40.00.
We
have replaced our old parfocal reducer with 0.62X reduction with our
new 0.7X model. The old model had a short back focus distance of only
29mm but the correction is diffraction limited. These optics were
designed for fast appos and give a well corrected field of 18mm. On
a f/8 appo you would end up with a f/5. Perfect for a ST2000 with
color chip on a TAK or similar. Only two left at $100.00. Your choice
of mounting plate at no additional charge a $55.00 value. Mounting
