Store your valuable instrument in a solid hardwood case made by our master machinest Ron Vander Werff in his spare time. Ron uses various Michigan hardwoods such as elm, walnut, oak or maple supplied from a local wood mill. The case contains enough room for the instrument, power supply, PC cable and extra filter sliders. A rechargable dessicant container keeps the instrument dry. A neoprene gasket keeps all dust from entering the case. All brass hardware. Quality American made for a change!

IMPORTANT: Not all USB-to-Serial converters are compatible with Optec software. We have found that those with the FTDI chip set are compatible and the models Optec sells use this chip set. Those with the Prolific chip set are not compatible. This limitation only effects Optec control software and not the software from other parties such as CCDSoft or MaximDL.
