#17640 - L mounting bracket with 1/4 -20 thread. This L shaped bracket sllows the Pyxis to be mounted on a side support or optical bench.

#17644 - Pyxis STL camera mount. The SBIG STL camera is one of the largest cameras that can be attached to the Pyxis. Unlike the more common ST-X cameras with the T-thread mount, this camera requires a special mounting plate that is attached to the camera by means of 4 socket cap screws that screw directly into the camera front plate.

#17646 - Pyxis T-thread camera mount. Most CCD cameras used in astronomy use this type of threaded mount. This adapter allows use of the NextGEN (0.33X and 0.50X only) reducers to work with most SBIG cameras without the CFW wheel. However, SBIG cameras using the CFW wheel must also purchase the #17654 extender tube. This moves the camera further back so that the CFW motor does not interfere with the Pyxis.

#17647 Pyxis Pentax camera mount. A few CCD cameras still use this thread standard for mounting. Not very popular at this time.

#17648 & #17657 - Pyxis SCT thread mount. Some cameras from Apogee and others use this 2" x 24 TPI thread. This thread also is common for the small Meade\Celestron telescopes, AO-7 and f/6.3 reducer. Use the short thread version #17648 for the Apogee cameras and the long thread version #17657 for everything else.

#17649 - Pyxis C-thread mount. Most video cameras use the 1" x 32 TPI thread standard. This adapter will allow the use of the NextGEN (0.33X and 0.50X only) reducers to be used

#17654 - Pyxis extender tube, 16mm. The extender tube moves the camera away from the Pyxis by 16 mm. Mounts between the camera mount and Pyxis. This is sometimes heeded if some member of the camera or camera filter wheel obstructs the Pyxis during rotation. In order for the CFW-8 (not the CFW-10) filter wheel from SBIG to be used, this adapter must be added to the T-thread camera mount, #17646. Use of this extender prevents the use of the NextGEN reducers because of the extended back focus distance.

#17650 - T-thread to Nikon adapter. Allows the popular Nikon digital cameras to attach to the #17646 Pyxis T-thread camera mount.
