Making an order

We accept purchase orders from all educational, governmental and scientific institutions with billing offices in North America. Our terms are Net 30 days FOB Lowell Michigan. Mail or FAX us your purchase order.

We accept VISA, Master Card, Discover, American Express and PayPal. Personal or corporate check with the order is also acceptable and shipping is free by ground UPS for advance payment in the continental USA. Free shipping by ground UPS is also offered with payment using PayPal.

To make an order, use regular e-mail and send us your requirements including your choice of shipping. You may wait for us to confirm your order, the total order amount due and delivery information. Use the SEND SECURE PAYMENT button in the navigation bar on the left to send us your credit card and billing name information. The SEND SECURE PAYMENT button directs your payment information to a secure site that only Optec has access to. We will retrieve the credit card data and then delete it from the remote server. The SEND PAYMENT WITH PAYPAL button links to the PayPal website where you can send secure payment to Optec directly from your bank or credit card.

Orders are acknowledged within 24 hours by e-mail. No billing to your credit card is done until the order is ready to ship. Tracking information from the freight company is e-mailed to you if requested. All orders are insured for value unless directed otherwise.

In order to fool web spider bots that seek out web e-mails for spam list, the Optec e-mail address is displayed as a gif image on the right and as active Java script object on the left. If you do not have Java scripting enabled, you will only see the gif image e-mail address. You will have to key in the e-mail address if you only see the gif image.
